August 2012 Two new double glazed energy saving windows have been installed in the kitchen at the village hall. SACC made a grant application and completed an energy audit for the funding and are delighted to be improving the energy efficiency of the village hall.

August 2012 The SACC community grant fund is launched. If you have an idea to reduce carbon emissions at home, work or at your community building in Snitterfield, apply for a grant from SACC. Applications to be made by 1st Oct 2012. Download the form on the Home page.

July 2012 Snitterfield Village School has had a free photovoltaic solar installation through the community solar scheme. The school is the third community building to benefit from a free installation. The revenue generated through the Feed in Tariff will be used for environmental studies and to improve the energy efficiency of the school building.
