August 2012 Two new double glazed energy saving windows have been installed in the kitchen at the village hall. SACC made a grant application and completed an energy audit for the funding and are delighted to be improving the energy efficiency of the village hall.

July 2012 Snitterfield Village School has had a free photovoltaic solar installation through the community solar scheme. The school is the third community building to benefit from a free installation. The revenue generated through the Feed in Tariff will be used for environmental studies and to improve the energy efficiency of the school building.
