About Us

Formed in 2007, we are a group of residents tasked with reducing the carbon footprint of our community through education and practical measures. We meet monthly in the village hall and welcome visitors/new members.

The team includes Duncan Parker (Chair), Trudy Hudson (Secretary), Ocean Thruston (Treasurer), Ian Spiers, Vikki Parker and Mary Bessey.

Community Café

SACC started the Snitterfield Community Café in 2017. This year we handed the reins over to other village groups. We still plan to occasionally guest host the café. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for when we will next be hosting. facebook.com/SnitterfieldACC

Sheep’s Wool Insulation

Taking delivery of the sheep’s wool insulation. Thanks to CASS Worldwide for their help with the forklifting and to John at Glebe Farm for the temporary storage. Duncan will be out delivering the sheep’s wool insulation to Snitterfield residents through the SACC Community Grant Scheme.
